The Grandview BethesdaLocated in Bethesda, MD, at the site of the previous Marriott International Headquarters campus, the Grandview is a new senior living campus that will include more than 1,200 units of independent living, assisted living and memory care. The campus will be built in phases, with phase 1 currently including two 12-story high-rise buildings, a parking garage and a marketing center.
Campbell Code Consulting is providing fire and life safety code consulting services through the design, permitting and construction phases. We are also performing stair pressurization analyses for each of the high-rise buildings. |

1900 M St RevitalizationLocated in Washington, DC, the 1900 M St. NW project involves a substantial upgrade to the visitor experience of three existing office buildings. Rockrose, the building owner, along with Fox Architects, developed a new vision for the 1900 M St. complex involving a continuous, shared lobby and amenity area between the three adjacent buildings.
Campbell Code Consulting worked closely with the design team and DC Department of Buildings to establish a code compliance strategy for creating numerous openings between the three buildings, which are all located on separate lots. This work included fire and life safety consulting throughout the design phase, as well as multiple code modifications to allow this unique design approach. |
765 John Carlyle Senior Living DevelopmentLocated in Alexandria, VA, the 765 John Carlyle Senior Living Development consists of an 18-story, 270,000 SF senior living facility sitting atop a parking podium. The project neighbors a 115,000 SF medical office building, also sitting atop the parking podium. The senior living program consists of 215 beds, divided between independent living, assisted living and memory care facilities.

Brightview Dulles CornerLocated in Herndon, VA, in the $1 Billion Innovation Center development, Brightview Dulles Corner is a new 7-story, 230,000 SF senior living facility consisting of 196 independent living, assisted living and memory care units. The project is uniquely integrated with a public park that located above the enclosed parking garage of the building.

Brightview AlexandriaLocated in Alexandria, VA, Brightview Alexandria is a new 4-story, 191,000 SF senior living facility, that will include 167 independent living, assisted living and memory care units.

Reunion Square Building 4Part of a multi-phase, masterplanned 1.5 million SF development, Reunion Square Building 4 is a 7-story, 230,000 SF office building fronting the Anacostia River.
Campbell Code Consulting provided fire and life safety consulting services, working closely with the developer, architect and Washington DC Department of Buildings to permit approvals. We also worked with the design team for the building's primary tenant, the DC Department of Health, who will occupy approximately 200,000 SF of the building. |
Dulles StationLocated in Dulles, VA, Dulles Station is a new 5-story, 400,000 SF residential apartment building, that will include 393 units as well as 6,000 SF of retail and amenity space.

Makers RiseMakers Rise is a 356-unit, seven-story apartment community built around an existing parking garage. Located in the heart of Dulles Station, the high-density, mixed-use community includes more than 5,600 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space and will add another public park to Dulles Station.

Roper St. Francis Berkeley HospitalThe Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital expansion project, located in Summerville, SC, is a 4-story hospital expansion totaling 245,000 SF of new space. It also includes a new medical office building with 72,000 SF of space as well as a new 160-space parking garage.
Campbell Code Consulting is providing fire and life safety code consulting services through the design, permitting and construction phases. The project will be a major addition to the healthcare services offering in the Summerville community, and has the unique challenge of requiring full occupancy of the existing hospital facility while the expansion is constructed. We worked closely with the design team and plan reviewers at the local and state levels to pursue approvals of the design. |
